Are you wondering about the post-pandemic, post-doctorate job market? Thinking about a variety of careers once you are done with your postdoc? The NPA will be hosting a free web-based discussion on careers in higher education administration, Wednesday, June 30, from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. ET. All panelists are doctoral recipients from a variety of fields and career stages:

The session will start with a quick overview of careers in higher education administration (five minutes) and then break up into smaller groups of about 15-20 participants with a panelist. Panelists will talk about their career paths for about five minutes and then open it up for 15 minutes of questions. This will continue for another round, so participants will get to talk with at least two panelists in small groups. Speakers will then bring everyone back together for a final 15-20 minute session where panelists will share insights and highlights from the small groups and answer any remaining questions participants may have. This workshop is meant to be engaging, so participants should be prepared to come with questions to ask and to be put in small groups for discussion. Due to the nature of the workshop (i.e., using breakout rooms) we are unable to record the session so please register only if you plan on attending and engaging in the conversation.

Registration for this event is closed.
