About the Committee

The Engagement Committee increases partner engagement with the NPA through increased interaction, participation, and attention to issues, roles, and matters of importance to the NPA.

Engagement Projects

National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW) is celebrated annually, beginning on the third Monday in September. The 15th annual celebration of NPAW took place September 16-20, 2024. During NPAW, organizations recognize postdoctoral scholars for their incredible contributions and dedication to their work and to their communities. To learn more about past events, please visit the NPAW page.
National Volunteer Appreciation Week will be held from April 20 - 26, 2025. During this week, the Engagement Committee will highlight the contributions of volunteers in the NPA membership and celebrate all of their accomplishments. Be on the lookout for articles and shout-outs to all of the great volunteers who support the NPA!
