decisions.
This financial literacy initiative is designed to help you:
- Understand who must file international taxes
- How to file international taxes
- Understand the two-year tax exemption
- Understand existing U.S.-country tax treaties
Speakers: Rosa Casas, senior payroll analyst at University of Texas at San Antonio (Academic Area) Nnennaya Ikwuagwu, director, payroll management services, University of Texas San Antonio. Ikwuagwu has been the subject matter expert for nonresident alien taxes in the university since December 2015. Anne-Marie Theophile, director of tax compliance, Arctic International LLC Arctic. She has primary responsibility for Arctic’s controversy resolution (IRS audit) practice and works with many clients to assist in their nonresident alien tax compliance audits and reviews.
