NPA Meetings Committee

NPA Meetings Committee

About the Committee

The Meetings Committee assists the staff and Board in planning and coordinating the NPA Annual Conferences. This committee interacts with all NPA committees and staff to develop programmatic content for the NPA Annual Conference and offers an opportunity to network with postdocs and administrators from institutions across the country. It also provides a great way to develop management and organizational skills. There are many small tasks on this committee if your availability is limited. The Annual Conference is the showcase event of the NPA. Join us to help keep the conferences vibrant!

The NPA Annual Conference is the largest conference and networking event in the postdoctoral community. Each conference is highly engaging and productive for postdoctoral scholars, administrators, and other individuals working to enhance the postdoctoral experience. Our Annual Conferences are held each year in the spring. To view more information about recent conferences please visit our Events page.
This toolkit will allow postdocs to create a collaborative atmosphere where postdocs can share ideas and receive critical assessment of their science, while fostering potential collaborations. Included in this toolkit are general guidelines to make organizing a postdoctoral research symposium easier. When designing symposium sessions, be creative in encouraging interaction and discussion. To learn more please view the full Postdoc Symposium Toolkit.
