Join members of the NPA Resource Development Committee for an engaging pre-conference session to enhance your leadership and management skills within a postdoc association (PDA) context.

This event is designed for postdocs interested in or already serving in leadership positions within a PDA. Through interactive discussions and hands-on activities, attendees will develop strategies to recruit volunteers, motivate participation, and sustain engagement. By the end of the session, attendees will have practical tools to enact change within their PDA and grow in their leadership capacity. 

Learning Objectives

1. Recruit Volunteers: Develop marketing strategies to communicate the benefits of joining or leading a PDA.
2. Sustain Engagement: Implement techniques to build motivation within your PDA based on individual goals and priorities.
3. Build your Network: Connect with peers to share experiences and establish a community for ongoing leadership development.
