NPA Announces Meetings Committee Vice Chair

The National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) has appointed Vinita Gangaram Jansari, Ph.D., as Meetings Committee vice chair. She will join S. Anand Narayanan, Ph.D., and Fatima Saldaña Morales, Ph.D.,
in leadership duties. The Meetings Committee assists the staff and Board in planning and coordinating the NPA Annual Conferences. This committee interacts with all NPA committees and staff to develop programmatic content for the NPA Annual Conference
and offers an opportunity to network with postdocs and administrators from institutions across the country.
Jansari is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Automotive Engineering at Clemson University, South Carolina. She holds degrees
in computer applications (Bachelor of Computer Applications, India), management and IT (Master of Science, University of St Andrews, Scotland), and computer science (doctorate, Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand). Her current research
applies AI and machine learning across manufacturing, mathematics, and healthcare. She is a co-principal investigator on an NSF-funded project and actively collaborates with industry partners, including BMW, to advance intelligent systems in manufacturing.
She has industry experience as a software developer in London and has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in New Zealand, Singapore, and the United States. She actively contributes to academic leadership at Clemson as the Graduate School Liaison
for Postdoctoral and Early Professional Scholars Association and has organized major research events, including a summit involving four NSF NRT programs and the co-located international manufacturing conferences NAMRC 53 and MSEC 2025.
