On behalf of the National Postdoctoral Association (NPA), executive director & CEO, Tom Kimbis, wrote a letter to the leaders of the appropriations committees from both parties in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate expressing concern about the impact on our entire postdoctoral community from proposed budget cuts in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (H.R. 1) for fiscal year 2026.
Although the NPA is a nonpartisan, non-lobbying organization, it is important to keep our elected leaders informed about the impact of proposed and current laws and regulations on our postdoctoral community.
