The National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) selected three poster session winners at its 17th Annual Conference, held April 12 - 14, 2019, at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, FL. The winners were:

University of Michigan's "Identifying Strengths and Weaknesses in the Postdoctoral Experience by Cross-Sectional Survey" by Francois Beaufay, Will Close, Ashley Kalinski, and Jay Vornhagen;

Tufts University's "Smoothing the road ahead: Ensuring Effective PDA Leadership Across The Years" by Muhammad Qadri, Erin Lewis, and Sarah Dykstra; and

Gladstone Institutes's "Building a Postdoctoral Community with a Postdoc-only off-site retreat." by Lise Barbe, Barbara Gonzalez Teran, Sakshi Tomar, Sudha Krishnamurthy.

Poster session winners were selected based on poster content (relevance to NPA goals and dissemination of ideas/information with the potential to make a significant impact on the postdoc population) and communication. This year's poster session fostered idea exchange and meaningful discussion, allowing participants to emulate successful programs at their institutions.
