- The 85th Advisory Committee to the Director (ACD) of NIH discussed how to address the current postdoc situation. Click here for the details.

- The NIH convened a meeting on "Postdocs: Training and Opportunities in the 21st Century”, held on October 23-24, 2003. The NPA was an activie participant in this meeting. Read more about it in the POSTDOCket.
- The NPA was represented at a meeting on workforce issues convened by OSTP and the Rand Corporation at the White House. Read about it in the POSTDOCket.
- The National Academies' Committee on Science, Engineering and Public Policy (COSEPUP) convened a second "Convocation on Enhancing the Postdoctoral Experience for Scientists and Engineers" in April 2004. Read more about it in the POSTDOCket!
