The institution plays an important role in ensuring the productivity and satisfaction of its postdocs.  The NPA is committed to helping institutions and their postdoctoral offices as they provide the direct support to the postdoc. In order to maximize the effectiveness of the institution's role, the NPA has developed a number of policy recommendations for the institution.

NPA Agenda for Change
The NPA's overarching policy recommendations for each of the primary stakeholders in the postdoctoral community: institutions, funding agencies/organizations, government, graduate schools and professional societies.

NPA's Recommended Practices for Institutions
Recommended practices are policies and practices formulated by agencies, universities, institutions, professional societies and others that reflect what the National Postdoctoral Association feels are forward-thinking and worthy of adoption by interested individuals or groups.

NPA Institutional Policy Database
A database jointly sponsored by the NPA and Sigma Xi, the Institutional Policy Database is a source of current data on institutional policies and practices relating to postdocs.
