Institutional Policy Database Print Email

The NPA Institutional Policy Database is a source for current postdoc policies and practices at U.S. research institutions. Institutional sustaining members of the NPA can take the Institutional Policy Survey and maintain their own information in order to keep it as up to date as possible.

The National Postdoctoral Association is pleased to announce the release of the first reports from the Institutional Policy Survey. Thank you to all the institutions that took the time to respond to the survey. The survey data provides us with the first ever picture of how postdoc offices are structured, how they receive funding, which classification of postdocs receive benefits, and much more. Please note the online reports are basic aggregate compilations of each question. We will be releasing a full report with more analysis of the data in the summer.
