At the 2014 National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) Annual Meeting a special mentoring session was held and several key concerns were identified by postdoc office administrators. Now, the NPA is launching a new platform to unite postdoctoral administrators with mentoring leaders.
Beginning September 9, 2014 the NPA will host a 45-minute webinar series entitled “myPDO Monthly.” Administrators will have the opportunity to share similar challenges, while the mentors can provide feasible solutions to address common concerns and challenges of those who manage postdoctoral offices. It will be open to staff and officers of NPA Sustaining Member postdoc offices. Each session will involve one or two main presenters, with time for Q&A.
