Description
The Membership Committee works closely with the Executive Director and staff to increase the number of NPA members across all categories (e.g., individual, PDAs, institutional), and to ensure the retention of these members through offering services that meet their needs. To meet this charge, the committee:

Informs current and prospective members about the benefits of membership. This includes the organization and implementation of specific membership campaigns.
Coordinates efforts to promote membership through the development of marketing materials, exhibition booths, paid advertising, direct mail, free media and other outreach strategies.

Analyzes membership and other data relevant to the recruitment and retention of NPA members.

Helps coordinate distribution of membership information by NPA representatives at local, regional, and national meetings.

Works with the Executive Director in the development of services and benefits, which meet the needs of NPA members and improve the recruitment and retention of members.
