Did you know?
-
It's estimated that there are as many as 89,000 postdoctoral scholars--scientists who recently received their Ph.D. and are involved in mentored research--in the United States.
-
They work up to 80 hours a week but only earn an average of $38,000 a year.
-
They are motivated by their passion for discovery and to make a positive difference in the world, and they sacrifice financial security in order to fulfill this passion.
-
The future of the U.S. research enterprise depends upon their contributions--and their innovation.
The National Postdoctoral Association is a non-profit organization that was founded to provide a national voice for these scientists, to seek positive change on their behalf, and to advance the U.S. research enterprise. Please join us in this effort with your donation today.
