|2013 Annual Meeting Poster Session Winners Announced|

The NPA selected three poster-session winners at its 11th Annual Meeting held March 15 - 17, 2013, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C. The winners, selected from a field of 30 presenters, were:
Medical College of Wisconsin's "A Case Study for Policy Change" by Brian P. Dranka*, Ion Moraru, Philip Clifford;
Thomas Jefferson University and Community College of Philadelphia's "Mentored Teaching Experience in Health Professional Courses" by Lisa M. Kozlowski* and Kristy Shuda McGuire; and
Western University Postdoctoral Association's "Postdoctoral Research Forum at Western Redux" by Jiro Inoue*, Kalin Penev, Min-Ching Kuo, Katrina Laurent.
The poster judging was facilitated by Annalouise O'Conner and Tammy Dennis. The official judges were: John Alvaro, Mary Bradley, Brendan Delaney, Laurence Frabotta, Ambika Mathur, Victoria P. McGovern, Christine Ponder, Kate Sleeth, Molly Starback, Mahadeo Sukhai, and Tuba Sural-Fehr.
Poster session winners were selected based on poster content (relevance to NPA goals and dissemination of ideas/information with the potential to make a significant impact on the postdoc population) and communication. This year's poster session fostered idea exchange and meaningful discussion, allowing participants to emulate successful programs at their institutions.
