June 1, 2012 The National Postdoctoral Association is holding elections in fall 2012 to bring five committed and energetic individuals into the NPA Board of Directors for two-year terms. We are seeking candidates representing a broad spectrum of research disciplines, institutional settings, geographic regions, demographic groups and professional experiences. Expertise in fundraising, leadership and policy advocacy are particularly appealing. Service on the Board is an excellent opportunity to refine your skills and share your vision with a dynamic group. Membership on the Board is not just for postdocs. The NPA also seeks individuals with backgrounds in administration, nonprofit governance, organizational development and fundraising. Please note: The Board of Directors Call for Applications is restricted to members only - service on the Board is limited to NPA dues-paying individual members and NPA sustaining member representatives.
