Francis S. Collins, M.D., Ph.D., Director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), will serve as the Keynote Speaker at the 8th Annual Meeting of the National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) to be held at Philadelphia, Penn., March 12-14, 2010. Dr. Collins is the 16th director of the NIH.

"We are especially honored that Dr. Collins accepted our invitation to be the Keynote Speaker," said Stacy L.Gelhaus, Ph.D., Chair of the NPA Board of Directors. "He has expressed that improving the NIH training program is a priority, and we appreciate and commend his continued support of postdoctoral scholars."
