The NPA is holding elections this fall to bring six committed and energetic individuals into the NPA Board of Directors for two-year terms.

Voting will begin on September 26, 2011, and close at 11:59 p.m. EST on October 10, 2011. Members eligible to vote will receive a secure ballot by e-mail when voting opens.

Only NPA dues-paying individual members and NPA sustaining member representatives are eligible to vote. If you are not a dues paying member or a sustaining member representative, please click here to upgrade your membership. You must upgrade your membership and receive confirmation of your voting status by September 12, 2011, in order to be eligible to vote.

As per the NPA Bylaws, "The Board of Directors shall be comprised of at least seven postdoc members as defined in section [2].2 and up to four (4) non-postdoc members."  Of the six positions currently up for election, four must be filled by postdocs.

The candidates for the six positions are, in alphabetical order by last name: Garth Fowler; Laurence Frabotta; Mohamed Hammad; Derek Haseltine; Schaun Korff; Kate Sleeth; Brandon Steelman; Mahadeo Sukhai; Tuba Sural; and Lorraine Tracey.
